Brigadier General Steven L. Salazar (Retired) is a distinguished U.S. Army veteran and executive, having concluded a 36-year military career that saw him retire as a Brigadier General. A West Point graduate, his most prominent command role was as the commanding general of the 7th U.S. Army Joint Multinational Training Command (JMTC) in Grafenwöhr, Germany, where he led significant improvements in training standards and expanded medical and behavioral health services for troops. Following his active duty service, which included time as the Assistant Deputy Director for Joint Training at the Joint Warfighting Center, BG Salazar transitioned to the non-profit sector.
He served as the former President and CEO of the Admiral Nimitz Foundation (ANF), the organization that supports the National Museum of the Pacific War in Fredericksburg, Texas. He is also a co-founder of the 360 Military-Veterans Partnership, a non-profit dedicated to assisting military leaders and veterans by addressing critical personal and mental health challenges. His career highlights a commitment to military preparedness, veteran support, and museum leadership, alongside experience in the aviation/logistics and healthcare industries.
