Forging Resilience in the Desert: 360MVP Launches New Iron Chapter at Fort Bliss

Fort Bliss, Texas — In a major step toward strengthening the “backbone” of the U.S. Army, 360MVP is proud to announce the official launch of the Iron Chapter at Fort Bliss. This expansion brings our scientifically validated, holistic leadership training to the legendary 1st Armored Division, ensuring that the “Old Ironsides” leaders are as resilient as the tanks they command.

A Legacy of Strength: Fort Bliss and the 1st Armored Division

Fort Bliss is not only one of the Army’s premier power projection platforms but also a historic center for innovation. As the home of the 1st Armored Division (1AD) since 2011, the installation supports over 17,000 “Iron Soldiers.”

The 1AD has a storied history—from being the first American armored division to see combat in WWII to its modern-day role in global security. Today, Fort Bliss continues to lead the way, recently opening the DoD’s first 3D-printed barracks in early 2025. It is within this culture of progress and excellence that 360MVP has found a new home.

The September 2025 Leader 360 Course

The chapter’s foundation was solidified in September 2025, when 360MVP held its inaugural Leader 360 Course at the Fort Bliss Mission Training Complex. From September 2–12, junior and mid-grade Noncommissioned Officers (NCOs) participated in a 10-day intensive program designed to bridge the gap between tactical proficiency and “life proficiency.”

The course served as a cornerstone of 1AD’s “Iron Core” initiative—a division-wide effort to build holistic leadership skills. Key highlights included:

  • Mind and Body: Days began with group yoga and mindfulness sessions to improve focus and stress management.
  • Holistic Wellness: Expert-led discussions covered sleep science, nutrition, and psychological fitness.
  • Financial and Relationship Health: Specialized modules on financial planning and conflict resolution, with spouses joining the final days to strengthen the family unit.
  • Peer Mentorship: Breaking away from traditional lectures, the course utilized a “learn, do, teach, lead” model that fostered deep, honest connections between NCOs.

“The Leader 360 Course is a holistic perspective to bridge the gap in resources that will aid leaders to identify weakness and strengthen their self-care, self-awareness, and resilience,” said Sgt. 1st Class Aileen Keemer, 1AD Construction NCO and the newly appointed Iron Chapter President.

Looking Ahead

The launch of the Iron Chapter marks a commitment to the long-term sustainment of our leaders. By equipping NCOs with these essential “360” skills, we aren’t just improving their careers—we are improving their lives, their families, and the health of the entire formation.

As we move into 2026, the Iron Chapter will continue to host sustainment events and provide a community of support for all 360MVP alumni at Fort Bliss.
